چکیده

The purpose of this study was to analyze the incidence and risk factors possible inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) injury after extraction mandibular third molars. A total 6182 patients were examined for 10,310 molar teeth. Panoramic radiography patients’ medical records used age, gender, impaction pattern molar. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) investigate detailed pathway evaluated presence symptoms damage tooth extraction. In CBCT, 6283 cases (61%) actually in contact with root correlation panoramic signs darkening (p < 0.001), deflection interruption IAN diversion narrowing 0.001) had statistical significance. Of 4708 who underwent surgical extraction, 31 (0.658%) complained damage. Among them, 30 (0.637%) damage, 1 patient (0.02%) lingual There a significant where roots became dark at area = 0.018) there 0.041). When driving appeared simultaneously high.
